OUR TRAINING COURSES – ‘Essentials’ Operator Training on Machinery:
All Waste Training Solutions Operator Training Courses are specifically designed to ensure that following successful completion of the course, the individual operator is fully conversant with the particular machine, the scope of its’ capabilities and the limitations of its’ use. These ‘Machine Specific’ courses will not only teach how to operate the machine but how to operate it safely and efficiently.
Each course also takes a broad view outside of the day to day operation process to look at the systems, protocols and procedures that also need to be in place, including statutory legislation. This is to ensure that the operator is fully aware of ALL aspects surrounding the machine and its’ use and the potential impact and dangers to themselves and others in the workplace.
During a typical Operator Training course the following topics will be covered as appropriate to the machine in question:
- Safety & Legislation:
- Health & Safety:
- LOLER Regulations (Where Appropriate)
- PUWER Regulations
- Personal Protective Equipment (PPE):
- Machine Specific Operating Instructions:
- Documentation, Systems & Protocols:
Depending on the machine and the course agenda, we expect a course to last approximately 4 to 6 hours which will accrue appropriate CPD points and entry into the candidates Waste Training Solutions ‘PASSPORT’ (with an appropriate membership in place).
All courses are fully supported with appropriate documentation as described in the introduction, and each candidate will receive a CPD Certified training certificate following successful completion of the course and course assessment.
